The Lucerne Convention Bureau performs the following core function: Consultation and coordination in relation to Lucerne as a meeting destination.

We provide our detailed local knowledge and experience to support your event planning free of charge. As networkers for the specialist providers in the conference, meeting and congress trade in the Lucerne - Lake Lucerne region, we are able to offer you valuable tips.

Analysis of congress requirements
We will be glad to analyse your request and advise on which venues would be most suitable for your congress.

As a mediator between you and the Lucerne specialists, we put you in touch with expert service providers such as congress venues, hotels and professional congress organizers. Our contact details

We provide professional destination marketing, for example in a bid book or a PowerPoint presentation.

Site inspection
We will be happy to organize a site inspection to meet your requirements.

Congress funding
Lucerne Tourism and its partners actively support congresses. Funding is available depending on the scale of the event. We will be glad to send you details.  Application for subsidies (793 KB)

Reduced-rate public transport ticket for Lucerne
The local public transport day ticket is available to your participants at a rate of just CHF 4.90 instead of CHF 10.00.
From 2017 onwards, the public transport ticket is free for anyone staying for a least one night.

Partnership with Swiss
SWISS supports international conferences in Switzerland as the official carrier. We will be glad to advise and put you in touch.

VAT refund

We provide free quotations for small-scale events or when only one service partner is involved.

Marketing support

Advertising materials
We will be glad to provide you with a range of advertising materials such as photographs, films, brochures and city maps of Lucerne. Destination brochures are available to you to provide your event participants with information in advance. Further information
