This guarantee means that at the particular moment of booking there is nothing cheaper available on any other online reservation platform. The Best Price Guarantee only applies to those hotels which carry our label.

Who can profit from the Best Price Guarantee?
Any guest who books a hotel room at one of the participating hotels via www.luzern.com.

How does the Best Price Guarantee work?
It ensures that the exact same offer is not available for a cheaper price on any other reservation platform.

How can I use the Best Price Guarantee??
In the event that you find a lower price on the Internet within 12 hours of making your reservation, the lower price will be accepted by the hotel. The Lucerne Tourist Board’s “Best Price Guarantee” applies exclusively to generally valid online prices and for identically comparable offers.

As proof, a screen shot of the reservation platform offering the lower price must be made on the same day (at the latest 12 hours after your reservation via www.luzern.com) and sent to the Lucerne Tourist Board.

The screen shot must show the following elements:
- detailed price information, name of hotel, city, type of room, form of occupancy, travel dates, services included in the price, date and time of comparison.

In order to lodge your claim, please send an e-mail with the following information to hotels@luzern.com:
- company name and Web address of the other reservation platform
- screen shot with the booking details mentioned above
- booking number of your Lucerne Tourist Board reservation
