About 100m from the site there is a seaside resort with flat sandy beach and beautiful panorama on the surrounding mountains. Access to seaside resort is free for hosts of the campsite. Next to the campsite lays the protected area with a beautiful walking path along the lake. The small paths around the peninsula Horw are ideal for biking and walking.
The near mountains offer plenty of activities like biking and hiking. From the campsite we get a wonderful view on the Pilatus and the Stanserhorn. Tickets are available on the site to special prices. Lucerne is not far with the famous bridge; the Chapel Bridge, the Glacier Garden, the Swiss Museum of Transport and the beautiful old town are certainly worth a visit. The city is about 4km from the site and accessible by public transports (ca. each 10 min.)
Little children can enjoy the playground on site. On site: table tennis, chess and table football for everybody. A restaurant in the garden and a recreation room allow meetings with your family and friends. A beach volley pitch is next to the campsite and a tartan track, which can be used by everybody. A mini golf and a tennis court are about 3 km from the site. Parking place for cars.

Horw-Süd, Hergiswil. Then follow camping signpost.
