Over the Dietschiberg to the Sonnmatt health resort
Walk along the lakeside promenade from Schwanenplatz to the Europe Hotel.
There are stairs up to St. Anna Clinic on the right side of the hotel. Follow part of the Adligenswilerstrasse up to the beginning of the trail path direction Dietschiberg.

Climb up
the hill next to the Restaurant Schlössli Utenberg
house to the Dietschiberg golf course. At the top
station of the old Dietschiberg funicular train stay
towards the right and head partly east to the
Zimmeriwald forest. Watch the signs. At the northeast
corner of the Zimmeriwald facing south and
after passing through some woods, climb down
towards the Sonnmatt health resort. You'll see a
beautiful panoramic Alpine view east and south.
Head east from Sonnmatt and hike down to the
Würzenbach district. Bus no. 6/8 back to Luzern.
