Free travel in the whole of Switzerland
The Swiss-Travel-System-Passes valid for up to 4, 8, 15, 22 days or for a month are the key to a transport system which is second to none. Guests from abroad can enjoy free travel on trains, buses and boats as well as a wealth of additional attractions.
The Swiss Pass entitles you to free travel on the trains, buses and boats in the whole of Switzerland. Panoramic trains such as the Glacier Express as well as public transport in 75 towns are also included. 50% discount on the majority of mountain railways and free admission to more than 470 museums. Only persons domiciled outside Switzerland and the Principality of Liechentenstein are entitled to this offer. A passport or an identity card must be shown when purchasing a pass.
The Swiss Pass can be purchased at the Tourist Information in Lucerne’s railway station where a team are on hand everyday to provide you with professional advice. Check our opening hours here.
- Swiss Saver Pass: Passengers travelling with a partner or in a group save 15% on the normal price.
- Swiss Youth Pass: Young adults under the age of 26 are entitled to the Swiss Youth Pass, saving 25% on the normal price.
- Swiss Family Card: Children from 6 to 15 years of age travel free of charge when accompanied by a parent.
- Children who are not accompanied by parents are entitled to a 50 % discount.
