Take the world’s steepest funicular railway from the lower terminus at Schwyz-Schlattli to an altitude of 1,300 metres. Inaugurated in 2017, the railway has what must be a record-breaking 110% gradient. The car-free mountain village of Stoos nestles in a family-friendly hiking and skiing area.
