Mindfulness in dialogue with art: "see & feel" offers relaxation and a special art experience.
Mindfulness reduces stress and thus has a positive effect on our well-being. Museums are also fountains of youth for health, as the NZZ recently headlined. With "see & feel", the non-profit association Mindful Art Encounters, in cooperation with the Kunstmuseum Luzern, is therefore launching an offer in which art and meditation come together. The new offer is available on the museums audio - app (kml.currit.net) and in the form of guided tours by specially trained meditation instructors.
For six works from the current collection presentation of the museum, interested visitors can listen to instructions for mindfulness while viewing the work, either on the screen or in the exhibition. The exercises last between 5 and 12 minutes and are aimed at both beginners and those who have practiced meditation.
