Our hotel has stylish rooms to suit every occassion. We offer new and innovative ideas in an atmosphere of timeless elegance. A total of six rooms with a capacity for between 5 and 550 persons are available.

A unique location. Our hotel is situated at the heart of Lucerne and on the very shores of Lake Lucerne. Feast your eyes on the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and take a stroll along the lake on the promenade!

Our 41 luxurious rooms are furnished in Empire style. Our pool floor with swimming pool and sauna provides a veritable oasis of relaxation.

A total of 7 rooms provide an elegant setting for between 8 and 230 guests. For larger occasions, the magnificent “Ritz“ and “Escoffier“ rooms can be reserved individually or together.

The Restaurant National is where good food meets comfort. Our head chef seduces guests with his creativity, his finely-honed culinary art and his love of top-quality regional products. Cooking is our passion and natural ingredients a valuable asset.

Arrival: The Grand Hotel National is situated in the centre of Lucerne. The legendary residence has a picturesque location on Lake Lucernes promenade. Enjoy the ideal location! You will find us in the heart of Switzerland and right in the centre of Lucerne, with excellent links by car, train or plane. Thanks to the central location, the cities of Zurich (60 km), Bern and Basel (100 km) and Geneva (250 km) can all be reached quickly. The train station and the old town are both just 5 minutes away by foot.
