The Alpine Cheese Trail is a somewhat more demanding hike and the big route from the Mountain Inn Trail. Panorama & playgrounds included. With the Alpine Cheese Fun Pass you can taste fine Alpine cheese from the region in cosy mountain restaurants.

This hiking route offers double mountain enjoyment: panoramic view and Alpine Cheese Fun. The Alpine Cheese Trail is a somewhat more demanding hike and the big route from the Mountain Inn Trail: panorama & playgrounds included. With the Alpine Cheese Fun Pass you can taste fine Alpine cheese from the region in cosy mountain restaurants. 

 

Alpine Cheese Fun Pass

With the Alpine Cheese Fun Pass the hike becomes a double pleasure, as you also get to know local Alpine cheeses. The Mountain Inn Trail takes you past six mountain guesthouses. On the Alpine Cheese Trail you will also pass the Alpine Cheese Farm "Tröligen". With the pass, you can taste three of these Alpine cheeses.

Parking

An der Talstation der Standseilbahn Schwyz-Stoos und der Luftseilbahn Morschach-Stoos sind Parkmöglichkeiten vorhanden.

Arrival / Return journey

Mit dem PW auf der A4 bis Ausfahrt Schwyz, dann Richtung Muotathal bis zur Talstation der grossen Standseilbahn Schwyz-Stoos oder mit dem PW auf Morschacherstrasse abbiegen (auf Höhe Wolfsprung), dann der Beschilderung nach Morschach folgen und weiter zur Talstation der kleinen Luftseilbahn Morschach-Stoos.

Public transport

Take the train to Schwyz, trainstation. Then take the bus nr. 1 to the station "Schwyz, Stoosbahn". From there you go up to Stoos with the funicular Schwyz-Stoos.
