Panoramic views and “Alpine Cheese Fun. You hike through the natural environment of the mountains and visit mountain restaurants and inns to taste Alpine cheeses.

The Bergbeizli Trail is a new, easy pleasure hike. It doesn’t require any amazing level of stamina and endurance as the elevation is limited. Its length also makes it suitable for an entertaining family outing. You walk along gravel paths and hiking trails and immerse yourself in the wild and romantic world of the Alpine foothills. Alpine meadows alternate with forests and again and again views of the Muotataler Valley and the Glarner Alps reveal themselves as do the Mythen Mountain and the Schwyzer Basin.

With the Alpchäs(S)pass, the hike becomes a double pleasure, as you also get to know local alpine cheeses. The Bergbeizli-Weg leads you past five mountain inns and alpine farms. With the passport you can taste alp cheese in three of them. You can choose from the following:Centenary Inn:

Gasthaus Balmberg

Hotel Stoos Hüttä

Restaurant Skihaus Ibach

Restaurant Klingenstock

Caschu Alp Boutique Design Hotel
