This walk takes you past the Tröligen alp dairy, where you can buy the products made by Oskar and Marianne Pfyl on their alp.
This easy round walk offers twice the enjoyment: wide-ranging views and tasty alp cheese.

You walk through nature and taste alpine cheese from the Stoos and the Muota valley in rustic mountain restaurants and on alps. Special alp cheese passports are again available in the 2018 summer season. The Bergbeizli Trail is a new, easy-going route that doesn't require optimal fitness or stamina as it barely goes up in altitude. You walk on unmade roads and footpaths and immerse yourself in the wild and romantic prealps. Alpine meadows and forests alternate, and you keep catching views of the Muota valley and Glarus Alps as well as of the Mythen and the Schwyz valley.

Alp cheese passport, Stoos

This passport doubles the pleasure, since it introduces you to the local cheeses. The Bergbeizli Trail takes you past six mountain restaurants and alps, and the passport allows you to sample cheese in three of them.

You can choose from:

Gasthaus Balmberg

Hotel Stoos Hüttä

Restaurant Skihaus Ibach

Restaurant Klingenstock

Alpwirtschaft Tröligen

Caschu Alp Boutique Design Hotel
