There is a 200 m no-cycling section just beyond this place: MTB’ers are required to push their bikes here, before resuming the saddle on the Bürgenstock Resort side.
Inaugurated in 2017, the new Bürgenstock Resort benefits from a range of restaurants for hotel guests and day-trippers alike.
The walk along the Cliff Path to the lower terminus of the Hammetschwand Lift takes no more than 30 minutes and offers stunning views encompassing Lucerne and the Swiss Central Plateau.
The route descends along the Bürgenstock road. Shortly after Obbürgen, look out for a signpost on the left indicating Seewligrat. The walk along the mountain path to the Lourdes Grotto takes some 15 minutes.
