The 'must-do' extra loop on the Schwyz valley and summit tour. This spectacular ridge hike offering non-stop 360° panoramic views all the way to the viewing platform on the summit of the Fronalpstock is a unique experience. It can also be shortened by using the two chairlifts.

A 10-minute walk from the mountain village of Stoos takes you to the lower terminus of the Klingenstock chairlift, which allows you to shorten the ascent to the Klingenstock. The footpath then leads via Stoos Hüttä and Holibrig to Metzg with its rustic alpine huts. Continue along the gravel road past the timber huts until a path forks off on the right: this leads to the summit of the Klingenstock via steep meadows. You then head towards Nollen via Rot Turm along a well-built path offering non-stop 360° panoramic views. Behind the Huserstock, a short, well-built and secured mountain path carved into the rock winds its way down to Furggeli. After the alpine hut in Furggeli, a short climb brings you to the highest restaurant in Canton Schwyz, where you can take the chairlift or walk back down to Stoos.
