A circular hike that offers everything: nature conservation areas in a fen, megaphorb communities in a no-hunting area, high-Alpine alluvial landscapes and lush Alpine meadows.
The delightfully beautiful circular route in the direction of Unteralp leads from the village bridge and over steps to the Mariahilf chapel. The route then continues up to the "Schützenhaus" (rifle clubhouse) and to the waterfall of the Gurschenbach and, after a short descent, over the bridge where a rest area invites you to take a break. A leisurely walk along a small road will then bring you back to Andermatt.
Andermatt Bahnhof – Mariahilf-Kapelle – Rohr – Unteralpstrasse – Andermatt Bahnhof
The bridges must be installed from spring to autumn.
Note: This circular route can also be extended.
