Experiences of an Obwalden gamekeeper
The tasks of a gamekeeper have changed over the course of time: In the past, it was mainly poaching that kept gamekeepers busy, today it is recreational activities of all kinds that present gamekeepers with new challenges. In addition to protecting game and securing protected areas, the tasks also include the reintroduction of animals such as the bearded vulture. Hans Spichtig, gamekeeper in Flüeli-Ranft from 2006 to 2021, takes the audience on a journey through the fascinating world of gamekeeping, spiced up with impressive experiences and unforgettable encounters.
The event takes place in the Sust in the Grafenort manor house, admission is free (collection). The café-bar in the Sust opens at 6.45 pm. Please note: The number of places is limited - the principle of “first come, first served” applies.
