klang Festival Concerts in Meggen - ENCOUNTERS \| 20th Anniversary
==================================================================

- Show
- concert

Haydn, Schubert, Beethoven, and Brahms showcase four facets of the piano trio: from classical elegance to Romantic passion and great sonic expressiveness.

 We’re celebrating—thanks to you, our dear audience. 20 years of “klang”—a tradition that moves, connects, and endures.

Thanks to these outstanding works, you’ll experience four facets of the piano trio: Haydn’s famous “Gypsy Trio” combines classical elegance with rhythmic vitality and a distinctly Hungarian flavor. Schubert’s “Notturno” unfolds a poetic, expansive soundscape. Beethoven’s delicate Allegretto surprises with its simple intimacy. Brahms’ Piano Trio in B-flat major concludes the program with romantic passion, lyrical warmth, and powerful depth of expression.

Joseph Haydn 1732–1809
Piano Trio No. 39 in G major, Hob: XV: 25 “Gypsy”
