The confluence of the Reuss and Kleine Emme, the Reusszopf, lies within the Luzern Nord recreational area. Here you can sit by the river, play football or boules, take a dip in the water or enjoy a chilled drink or a meal at the Nordpol summer bar.
With its bay, green areas, access to the water and barbecue spots, the Reusszopf is the perfect place for wonderful summer days and leisurely evenings.
The Reusszopf leisure and recreational area has flat banks. It benefits from a football pitch, play areas, two barbecue spots, a children’s playground, a boules area and a bay lined with quarried stone blocks. It also has a cycle parking facility and modern WCs.
The easiest way to reach the Reusszopf is by bike or on foot. Alternatively, take bus no. 2 from Lucerne railway station to “Reussbühl Schiff”, or it’s a five-minute walk from Emmenbrücke railway station.
