Gold panning in the Entlebuch

The streams of the Napf region carry one of the most coveted precious metals: GOLD.

Gold can only be found in a few places in the stream. You will find out why this is the case and where you can really find gold when you are welcomed by our experienced guide. You'll quickly learn how to pan for gold and soon it will be shining in your pan too. Can you already feel the gold fever? Spend your lunch break around the campfire. Strengthened, you shovel into the wash trough in the afternoon and increase the yield considerably. The concentrate from the wash trough is washed out. The gold is yours.
