Coaches in Lucerne

1. Coaches in the City of Lucerne

Passengers can board and alight coaches at six centrally located coach stops in Lucerne City as well as three large coach parks and two other coach parks with time-limited parking (charges apply). After letting passengers disembark, the coach continues to one of the available parking spaces and waits there until passengers are ready to be picked up again. Available spaces in coach parks and at coach stops can be checked online in real time.

2. Arrival and navigation: the «iParkiere Bus» app

Coach drivers can use the official «iParkiere Bus» app to find coach stops and parking spaces and find their way around Lucerne City quickly and easily. «iParkiere Bus» is activated for users as soon as they reach Lucerne. The app helps them find places to stop and park.

3. Coach stops

The coach stops in the city centre are for intended for the boarding and disembarking of passengers. Waiting on public roads is prohibited, stopping in areas not intended for coaches is consistently punished by the Lucerne police. After letting passengers disembark, the coach continues to one of the available parking spaces and waits there until passengers are ready to be picked up again. Short-term parking is permitted at some coach stops, depending on the season and the time of day.

4. Parking

The coach waits at one of the stops until passengers are ready to be picked up again. All parking is subject to a fee. Please take note of information signs and turn off the engine after parking.
