In addition to the wide range of delicacies in the ChocoStore, the ChocoDromo (headquarters of Aeschbach Chocolatier) is also home to ChocoWorld. The interactive tour tells you all about the history of chocolate and its production. Where is cocoa grown? How does it arrive in Switzerland and what makes a good blend? Watch the chocolatiers at work or create your own personal chocolate courtesy of the ChocoPlus facility.

Passion meets tradition

From production in a converted shed with two employees to the chocolate visitor experience in Root. The current 120 or so employees work with as much attention to detail today as their forerunners did in the past. They intensify the chocolate experience for consumers. For proprietor Markus Aeschbach, the third generation to run the family business, treating customers, suppliers, producers and employees fairly is a matter of principle – as is ensuring outstanding quality. He took over the reins from Charles Aeschbach – founder of the company in 1972 – in 2003.
