Head chef Ralf Thomas’s approach to his craft is traditionally French and has attracted 15 Gault Millau points. The Bam Bou by Thomas is notable for its freshness and quality. Diners are treated to a lunchtime menu that changes on a daily basis, and a seasonal evening menu featuring a wide-ranging à la carte selection.
The Bam Bou was given a sympathetic facelift by Jean Nouvel, who is known in Lucerne in particular for his striking KKL Luzern concert and convention centre. The Frenchman was also responsible for designing 30 unique rooms at The Hotel, as a result creating one of Lucerne’s most hip addresses.
