Midwives, politicians, international stars – the women of the Lucerne inspire in so many ways.

“Women who shaped Lucerne” tells of doughty Lucerne women and female personalities who influenced the city in important ways. This round tour starts at the KKL and takes in hidden gems such as the Lucerne “Zöpfli” on Josi-J.-Meier-Platz. As you go round, you’ll hear fascinating stories about Lucerne women in the realms of politics, medicine and cooking as well as art and music. Discover real characters like “s’Eierrösi” and learn about the miracles of life that have taken place in Rosengasse. A special highlight of the city tour is the visit to the world-famous water tower.
