Dreaming of billiard table fairways before a magnificent mountain panorama? Of well-maintained tees and greens with views of Lake Zug and Lake Lucerne? If so, you’ll enjoy this golf course in the heart of Switzerland with all its advantages. The variety, the inviting Panorama restaurant and the family atmosphere at the club make any visit to Golf Küssnacht am Rigi an exceptional experience.
The attractive 18-hole course offers players of all abilities a fair, sporting challenge in delightful surroundings. The varied par-68 course was sculpted into the hilly moraine landscape between Lakes Zug and Lucerne by internationally renowned golf course architect Peter Harradine: its scenic fairways offer golfers plenty of variety.
The excellent standard of maintenance also speaks in favour of the Küssnacht am Rigi golf course. The WWF monitored its construction from the word go and awarded it the distinction of being “a particularly environmentally compatible and near-natural sports and leisure facility” after completion.
The public Panorama restaurant complete with bistro, lounge and terrace is a place where members and guests like to meet. Everyone – golfers and non-golfers, walkers, residents from the village coming for lunch, families with children, companies and clubs – is welcome and made to feel at home.
The well-ordered, modern golf shop has a good selection of brand name golf equipment, fashion, functional wear, footwear and accessories.
From April to November, the office and shop are open between the hours of 8 am and 7 pm. The opening hours between December and March are 9 am to 4 pm. They are closed on weekends.
The course itself is open from sunrise to sunset. Green fees are payable at the office from 8 am. The opening hours are weather-dependent.
