This bathing area is a popular meeting place for the residents of Lucerne. In addition to swimming and sunbathing, people come here to meditate, do yoga, dance, attend concerts and play cards.

The bathing facility was refurbished in 2015: since it is located on a slope, it is smaller and gets the sun, though there are several shady trees, too. The shore area has a varied layout with blocks of stone and non-swimmer pools of different depths. Here you can paddle, bathe your feet and watch the fish.

Opening hours

Rotsee Badi is open every day from 9.30 a.m. to 8 p.m. from 1 May to 30 September in fine weather.
