The route leads over the heights and through the valleys of the Napfbergland and repeatedly offers surprising and unique views of the Swiss Plateau and the Alps.

From Luthern, head towards Luthern Bad to Chrutzi. Here we branch off and climb up to the Chrishütte. At the height, go past the Bruch over Lutermattegg and Churzhubel to Gishübel and then over Lutermatt back down to Luthern. Continue along the Luthern down to Hofstatt and Under-Brügglismatt: Here we cross the valley floor and ride back about 400 meters on the bike path towards Hofstatt and then branch off towards Girstock.
