A short walk from the train station in the direction of Alpthal takes us to the start of the Bolzberg-Trachslau cross-country ski trails. The Nordic Shop with ski rental and checkroom, the Swiss Cross-Country Ski School Einsiedeln and a cross-country pub are located right at the Grotzenmühle trail entrance. From there, the cross-country skiing area is divided into two routes and comprises a total of 25 kilometers of trails, including a night trail. The 10 kilometer long and mostly flat sunny trail leads past the Frauenkloster Au convent and across meadows to Trachslau where the Rest. Tändli invites you to linger. For those who like it a little hillier, the 11-kilometer-long Bolzbergloipe is certainly worth a try. After just two kilometers, there is a wonderful view of the baroque Einsiedeln monastery church and the ski jumps shimmering in the distance.

Nordic Shop & Rental (only during December to March and cross-country skiing)
You can rent skis, boots and poles (daily rental only, no seasonal rental). Rental is open daily from Monday to Sunday when the cross-country ski trails are open.
Reservations are accepted online until 3 p.m. the day before. Reservation fee: CHF 5. Despite reservations, there may be waiting times. Please allow sufficient time to collect your rental equipment.
Please note: If you have already booked your rental equipment with a cross-country skiing course, this reservation is not necessary!
