It starts at the "old mountain station" in Frutt-Dörfli. The path briefly follows the road up to the Hotel frutt Lodge & Spa and then changes behind the imposing building onto the hiking trail towards Bonistock. **Public transportation**Travel to Stöckalp is possible by private car or by bus number 343 from Sarnen. From Stöckalp, the gondola runs. It is also possible to drive by private car (paid) up to Melchsee-Frutt (ascents at even hours, e.g. 8, 10, 12 o'clock etc. / descents at odd hours, e.g. 9, 11, 13 o'clock etc.).
