The panoramic view and magnificent descents are unique. The route can be shortened with the Haldigrat chairlift. The ski tour from Brändlen to Haldigrat is a real insider tip. While most ski tourers and freeriders take the Maria-Niederrickenbach cable car up, one enjoys absolute tranquility from the small Brändlen cable car and a fantastic view towards Bannalp. Upon reaching Haldigrat, the route continues over the distinctive northwest ridge to the summit. You are rewarded with a fantastic view down to the Mittelland. The descent leads either to Gitschenen in Isenthal, to the northwest flank of Brisen to the Haldigrat valley station, or via Steinalper-Jochli to the SAC Brisenhaus / Niederrickenbach."
