On Veloland route No. 34 you reach Suhr and then turn into the Wynetal. In Teufenthal, the Trostburg proudly stands on a 40 m high rocky outcrop. The complex was probably built in the 12th century by the lords of Trostberg. Today it is privately owned and can only be admired from the outside. Over extensive fields and meadows with a view of the Alps, you head towards the historic town of Beromünster. The Fläcke and the collegiate St. Michael have been the town's pride for 10 centuries. The fast descent with views of Lake Baldegg and the Alps leads you to the valley floor, past the Lake Baldegg nature reserve to Richensee. Shortly before reaching Hitzkirch station, you see the megalith tower from the 13th century."
