A varied hike through meadows and beautiful forest sections.

The hike starts from Sarnen station along the railway tracks heading south, crosses the railway tracks and then passes the Protestant church on the right. After crossing the motorway and the Melchaa river, the hiking trail turns left towards the Sarnen Lourdes Grotto. It is worth making a stop here to enjoy this special place.

On the A2 from Lucerne through the tunnel onto the A8 towards Interlaken, change to Sarnen and then take the A8 to the Sarnen North exit.

From Interlaken via Brünig on the A8 to the Sarnen North exit.
