Leisurely hiking route from Lucerne to Meggen along the magnificent lake promenade. With many highlights; the splendid St. Leodegar Church, the charming lakeside bath, the exciting Swiss Museum of Transport, and the imposing Meggenhorn Castle.

The hike starts at Lucerne station and leads over the lake bridge to the edge of the historic old town. Along Schweizerhofquai, the path leads to the pavilion. At the pavilion level, cross the street and then head up to the splendid Hofkirche St. Leodegar. A visit to the church is worthwhile.

**Along the lakeshore**

Leave the church grounds at the back and walk leisurely down to Adligenswilerstrasse until you reach the lake shore again.
