To the right of the dam, several peaks form a chain that only allows a connection to the other side via the Lochberg. The Lochberg is a popular touring destination as soon as the road to the Göscheneralp is open. The steep north-facing slopes promise downhill fun until early summer.

Directions & Parking facilities
The road to the Göscheneralp is closed in winter. However, the Geissenparadies offers a cab service. As soon as the road is open again, it will also be available for private travel by car.
Parking is available directly at the reservoir in the Göscheneralp and in the village of Göschenen.
In winter, the road to the Göscheneralp is closed to public transport. As soon as it is open, buses run from Göschenen station to the Göscheneralp. You can find the current timetable at: www.sbb.ch.
