The beautiful circular hike starts at the mountain station of the aerial cableway Illgau-Ried. The path leads through the village, past the listed and cozy Sigristenhaus restaurant and the village shop. With the aerial cableway Illgau-St. Karl, it’s a leisurely ride to the St. Karl playground with a large playground and barbecue area. The hike continues via Gründel into the beautiful Fallenfluh forest up to Fallenfluhkänzeli, the wonderful viewpoint with barbecue area. **Getting there**By car on the A4 to the Schwyz exit, then towards Muotathal to the valley station of the aerial cableway Ried-Illgau or by car towards Muotathal to after the valley station of the funicular follow the signs to Illgau.
