This route leads through the Wynental valley up to Beromünster and further westwards to Lake Sempach; the return goes via the Suhrental valley on secondary roads back to Aarau.

From Aarau, the path leads over Teufenthal, Kulm and Menziken on the old railway track up to Beromünster and from there further westwards to Vogelsang with a magnificent view of Lake Sempach. After a rapid but beautiful descent down to Schenkon, the return trip begins via Geuensee and west of the Suhre along through Knutwil, Winikon, Staffelbach, Holziken and Entfelden back to Aarau.
