Directions

Start at the train station in Stans. Then via Stansstaderstrasse – Ennetmooserstrasse – Kantonsspital to Galgenried. Through the Rotzschlucht it is recommended to push the bike on the short, steep section. For e-bike riders, this ascent is comfortably manageable. At the top, the lovely landscape of Drachenried in the municipality of Ennetmoos is presented. Via St. Jakob it goes up to Mueterschwandenberg. From the Zingel farm to the viewpoint, the bike must be pushed for a short distance. At the top, you can enjoy an unobstructed view of Pilatus, Rigi, and Stanserhorn as well as over Lake Lucerne.
