The Finsterwald trails above Entlebuch are among the most beautiful in Central Switzerland.

The Nesslebrunnebode trail starts directly at the drilling platform - an old industrial monument of Entlebuch. Gas was extracted here in the 1980s. The trail leads over flat raised bog and meadowland and offers wonderful views of these beautiful natural landscapes in their white winter coat. **Getting there**The UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch is located in the heart of Switzerland, centrally between Bern and Lucerne. You can reach Finsterwald via main road 10 towards Entlebuch and then on to Finsterwald.

Attention, in winter the Glaubenberg Pass (Entlebuch - Sarnen) is closed!
