On narrow runners into the curves. Sledging fun for the whole family at Sattel-Hochstuckli.

The start is right at the mountain station. Whiz down the 3.5-kilometre-long toboggan run with flat and steep sections. Once you have reached the valley station, you can comfortably take the revolving gondola back to the start, where the next round can begin. Sledging fun for young and old. On Saturday evening, the sledging fun - with or without a fondue - goes into overtime.

Those who don't dare to take the big run yet can test their sledging skills on Rondo's sledge run. The 250-metre-long toboggan run leads from the Mostelberg mountain station to the Engelstock restaurant. The 120-metre-long magic tunnel is a convenient way to get back.

Sledges can also be rented for CHF 10.-

Author´s Tip / Recommendation of the author

Night sledging:
Every Saturday we let our toboggan run shine. From 7pm to 10pm, you can whizz down the 3.5-kilometre track on two runners under the best lighting. Once you arrive at the valley station, you can take the revolving gondola back to the start in comfort.

Winter fireplace - a place to linger:
After a sledge ride or winter walk, warm your hands by the fire and eat a hearty sausage from the grill. Barbecuing in winter is fun. The covered barbecue area "Gruebi" is behind the suspension bridge and easily accessible. The barbecue area has tables and seating. Firewood is replenished regularly.
