First, walk horizontally to the first viewpoint towards Obwalden, Brünig, and the Bernese Alps. This view to the Mönch, Eiger, and Jungfrau is wonderful – yes, the order of the mountains is “reversed” from here. Then go up steps to the second viewpoint, with a view also towards Lucerne. Another ascent leads to the actual summit at 1897 m above sea level. The descent passes the marmot houses and the starting place for hang gliders.
