At Sattel-Hochstuckli, the hot-air balloons rise majestically and spectacularly into the sky at the same time. The various balloon teams meet at Herrenboden. From 10.30 a.m., spectators can look over the shoulders of the pilots as they prepare for take-off. The mass launch is scheduled for around 11.30 am. How to get there: Allow sufficient time for the journey by train and a short hike. Early arrival is recommended, preferably by public transport. Limited parking spaces are available at the valley station.

The Stuckli Balloon Fiesta will not take place on Saturday, January 10, 2026. The current weather situation and the conditions at the launch site do not allow the event to be held safely.
The next replacement date is scheduled for Saturday, February 21, 2026. We are then hoping for better weather conditions so that the hot air balloons can take off into the wintry air as planned.
