History
After 1800, the alphorn had more or less lost its original function in the mountains. From the 19th century onwards, however, it won the hearts of listeners as a musical instrument. It became a tourist attraction and a symbol of Switzerland. The alphorn offers homely sounds and an impressive piece of Swiss folklore. Depending on the landscape, this magnificent instrument can be heard from five to ten kilometres away. The sound touches people's souls and its vibrations are able to trigger feelings of well-being in the body of the listener and the player.Taster course
Enter into the experiment and get to know the alphorn. Only when you have tried it yourself will you be able to feel the fascination of this instrument in a new way. You will be guided through the taster course by experienced alphorn players. Look forward to a sonorous course.Good to know
