You wander through the forest on the fairytale trail and hear the adventures of Wurzilla (literally: Rootilla), a little root child. Embark on a search for the dragon, a symbol of the healing powers strongly felt in nature.

The Wurzilla fairytale trail follows the trail of the main character Wurzilla in the fairytale book of the same name. Wurzilla is snatched from the ground as a small root and encounters various creatures on her subsequent search for the dragon, who help her on her way with gifts and advice.

The Wurzilla fairytale trail is particularly aimed at families with children aged four to ten. The trail is around one and a half kilometers long and offers great opportunities to play and linger. For example, the oversized spider's web, a giant wooden swing in the middle of the forest.

NEW Dragon friend - smartphone scavenger hunt family
Cleo the parrot needs help! His friend the dragon is ill. Only Wurzilla the fir tree knows what the dragon needs to get better. Together with Cleo, they go in search of Wurzilla. To find her and heal the dragon, they have to solve all the riddles on the fairytale trail. Equipped with a smartphone, the adventure can begin. The story is narrated and solutions are entered using your smartphone. The clues can be found in real life in the form of original props and tricky puzzles. The Smartphone Scavenger Hunt Family is perfect for families with children aged 4 to 10.

Playing time: 1 to 1.5 hours

Cost: SFr. 35.00 per family

Shortly after the Hotel Kurhaus Heiligkreuz the fairytale trail leads into the forest. The first section of the 1.5 km circular trail leads through the forest. Shortly before you leave the forest via a short suspension bridge, you reach a small pond with an enchanting view of the Heiligkreuzplace of pilgrimage. On leaving the forest, follow the trail until you reach the road. Turn right here and follow the road, which takes you back to the Kurhaus Heiligkreuz.

Heiligkreuz is five minutes' drive from Hasle and 10 minutes from Schüpfheim.

Plenty of free parking at Heiligkreuz.

The PostBus takes 20 minutes to reach Heiligkreuzfrom Entlebuch.

The bus stop (Heiligkreuz) is next to the church and Hotel Kurhaus Heiligkreuz.
