Advent at St. Joder
Under the motto: "On to Bethlehem," we invite you this year to get into the Christmas spirit with a cozy walk.
This Advent walk was created in collaboration with pastoral worker Marianne Rössle (Advent contemplative impulse texts).
The starting point is at the St. Joder chapel. There you will receive the route description and a few lines/thoughts to take along. The second stop is at the festively decorated Gädeli (stable) about 10 minutes above the chapel. Here, you can linger, find peace, and prepare for the Christmas season. There is also a children's corner in the stable where the little ones can look forward to Christmas.
Back at the chapel, you can refresh yourself with a hot punch and Christmas cookies.
We would be delighted if you take the Advent walk on your own, with family or friends, and let yourself be enchanted by the festive atmosphere at St. Joder.
The Advent path at St. Joder is open to interested parties from December 11, 2025, to January 11, 2026.
