On January 10, the hot-air balloons rise majestically and spectacularly into the sky at Sattel-Hochstuckli. The various balloon teams meet at Herrenboden. From 10.30 a.m., spectators can look over the pilots' shoulders as they prepare for take-off. The new balloon with the Sattel-Hochstuckli logo will also be christened. The mass launch is scheduled for around 11.30 am. Arrival: Allow sufficient time for the journey by train and a short hike. Early arrival is recommended, preferably by public transport. Limited parking spaces are available at the valley station.
