Accessibility declaration 

Luzern Tourismus AG strives to make its digital presence accessible and inclusive. Our aim is to give people with and without disabilities equal access to our online content and services. To this end, we are constantly optimising our digital applications in terms of accessibility.

Status of compatibility with requirements
The website www.luzern.com is currently partially compliant with the requirements of BITV 2.0 and WCAG 2.2 – Conformity Level AA.

Non-accessible content 

  • Individual PDF files and documents are not yet accessible. 
  • Some content (e.g. maps or external widgets) is not yet fully usable with screen readers. 
  • Not all images have alternative text that can be used by screen readers. 
  • The audio files used have no subtitles and are not transcribed. 
  • The video files used have no subtitles and are not transcribed. 
  • Colour contrasts and keyboard navigation on individual subpages are not yet fully optimised. 
  • Depending on image contrast, the copyright information on the images may not be sufficiently recognisable. 
  • The texts displayed on the website are not additionally displayed in plain language. 
  • Not all content elements can be operated exclusively with the keyboard. 
  • In the case of the fact element, there is an automatic incrementing of numbers, which cannot currently be paused. 
  • The H mark-ups for the headings are not properly maintained currently, which is why the correct and desired heading hierarchy is still unimplemented. 
  • Not all link titles on the website are properly maintained.

This declaration was drawn up on 8 May 2026. We regularly review our accessibility measures as part of our commitment to continuous improvement.
