Guided Tour of St. Ottilien Chapel
A guided tour through and around the beautiful St. Ottilien Chapel in Buttisholz.
Please contact us in advance, and we’ll be happy to extend your tour with a bat-watching excursion or a light meal at the Pilgerstübli St. Ottilien. The chapel is a peaceful and beautiful place where devotional services and weddings can also be held. A visit here can be perfectly combined with a walk around Lake Soppensee.

- The pilgrimage chapel and the Pilgerstübli can be reached on foot, by car, or by bus operated by Rottal Auto AG
From Lucerne, Willisau, and Wolhusen: take the bus to the “Stalten” stop; from there, it’s a 10-minute walk.
From Sursee: take the bus to the “Dorf Buttisholz” stop; from there, it’s a 20-minute walk. Participation info
