Among the various treasures of St. Michael’s Abbey are gold and silver jewelry, richly decorated priestly vestments (paraments), and the hand-carved choir stalls, which are over four hundred years old.
But the highlight is undoubtedly the abbey treasury. It comprises liturgical objects spanning a period of 1,300 years. This makes it one of the most important medieval and Baroque church treasures in Switzerland and places it among the finest in Europe.

- Guided tours can begin on weekdays only after 10:30 a.m., since Holy Mass is held in the collegiate church at 9:00 a.m. every day. No guided tours are offered on Sundays.
