Directions & Parking facilities
The mountain village of Stoos is car-free and can only be reached by cable car.
Arrival via funicular (recommended):
Public transport / car:
Take the train in the direction of "Schwyz, Bahnhof" and from there take the bus in the direction of Muotathal, Hölloch to the "Schwyz, Stoosbahn" stop. / Highway A4 take exit "39 Schwyz" and follow the signs to Stoos. Paid parking spaces are available directly at the valley station. You can also reserve a space in the covered parking garage online before you arrive.
The funicular runs between 07.10 and 19.10 at xx.10 and xx.40. For trips later in the evening, take a look at the timetable.
The bottom station of the chairlift, which transports you comfortably to the summit, is about a 10-minute walk away.
