Start your journey however and wherever you like: for example, in Lucerne with a relaxing boat trip across the glittering Lake Lucerne, which takes you directly to the foot of the legendary Pilatus. From there, take the world's steepest cogwheel railroad up to the majestic summit of the Pilatus. After enjoying the breathtaking panoramic view over the lakes and mountains, take the spectacular Dragon Ride cable car to Fräkmüntegg. On the leisurely ride home, you can take your time to recover from the many impressions. Take the gondola from Fräkmüntegg to Kriens and from there take the bus to Lucerne.

Or start the golden round trip in Kriens and float up the mountain on the panoramic gondola lift and aerial cableway before taking the cogwheel railroad and boat back. Regardless of which direction you take on the round trip - an incomparable 360° panoramic view of the Swiss Alps awaits you at 2,132 meters. Enjoy a refreshment stop at one of the mountain restaurants and take in the spectacular view before continuing your journey. Tip: If you're a family, it's worth making a detour to the playground on Krienseregg.
