Sempach tower tour

With an expert guide, you will visit the Witches' Tower and the Lucerne Gate at the southern end of the town and learn more about the imposing 17th century town clock and the fresco by Seraphin Weingartner. The tour continues at the northern entrance to the old town to the Ochsen or Surseertor gate, which also played an important role in the fortification of the town. The gate once had a tower, which was demolished in the 19th century but rebuilt true to the original for the 600th anniversary of the Battle of Sempach.
