Shavina - Hiking with goats

Hiking with goats is a fun and unforgettable experience for young and old. The trusting, yet unconventional animals come along on a shorter or longer hike on the Haldi or elsewhere in the canton of Uri. The goats roam freely, but can also be kept on a lead by the children. Each goat has its own character, which you get to know on the tour. The organiser is also happy to tell you interesting facts about the animals and stories about life with goats.

A break is taken at a nice resting place to enjoy the beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and the small picnic brought by the organiser.

The meeting point is always at the mountain station of the Haldi cable car. A different meeting point can also be arranged on request. Please bring your own drinks and wear appropriate clothing and good shoes for the weather. The pace of hiking with goats is rather leisurely and the roads and hiking trails are easily accessible for everyone.
